- Participated in design and testing of the optical part
of Polarization Mode Dispersion Compensator (PMDC) for 10Gb/s.
- Performed customer interactions (laboratory trials) on
10Gb/s PMDC.
- Set-up and operated system level test laboratory for
PMDC performance evaluation.
- Studied properties of PMD in fiber, particularly
statistics and correlation between first and second order PMD.
- Set-up and operated initial 40Gb/s test bed.
- Designed and tested intial 40Gb/s PMDC prototype.
